I’ve been a patron of this waxing studio since 2021. I started at another location, which is owned by the same person. I switched here because my esthetician switch locations. I loved it, raved about my experience, and recommended dozens of people up until February of this year. My original esthetician left, so I began to frequent the other location, where I found a new esthetician. I stuck with her until she was fired for not showing up on the day her grandmother passed. Despite this heartbreaking information, I remained a loyal customer on the search for a new esthetician. I tried a few and were unsatisfied with the results. I, then, decided to cancel my membership. During the conversation, I asked the young lady if I would be able to hold on to my credits (money that has rolled over from my membership that I didn’t use… $192.42 of my own money to be exact.” The lady, with an attitude told me yes, but that she couldn’t cancel it and to call back for the manager, Danielle. I eventually got ahold of Danielle, who was probably the sweetest person I’ve encountered while trying to figure this out. She was able to cancel my membership, but told me my credits (almost $200 of my own money) would be voided. There was nothing she could do on her end and advised me to reach out to corporate. It is now July and I’ve been reaching out to corporate since February, with no response. I call, no answer. I’ve used the chat box on the website, with no solution. I’ve even emailed explaining the situation and provided proof. I recently went to a wellness event where I was able to speak with the owner of both locations. She stated, “Keep trying corporate,” and immediately walked off. She didn’t offer to help resolve the issue. Based off my interaction with the owner, her apparent disinterest in my situation, after spending thousands of dollars with her, and sending 20-30 people their way, her business gets 2 stars. I honestly would’ve given 1 star if it wasn’t easily removable.
