I came with my mom to get back done. My mom has always done this at home for me but we are going on vacation to Mexico so she said she would pay for me to get it done! This hurt less than what she does at home. This place was girly but the girl that did my back was really nice and explained things to me as it was happening. They put some oil and lotion on when they were done. Doesn’t feel like I even had it done the oil is good.

No more or less painful than waxing in my experience (you are yanking hair out after all), but the lack of heat definitely left my skin feeling less irritated than with a wax. This was my first time getting a sugaring service done- I booked same-day and was able to get an appointment with Vanessa. The shop is very cute and bright with ample seating... (there's a beautiful willow tree you can see from the couch and it mesmerized me as it danced in the wind). They offered me still or sparkling water and the atmosphere was genuinely welcoming and sweet. Vanessa walked me through the service and explained everything ahead of time. I would say that it was a little more painful than traditional wax, but my skin is noticeably smoother. I'm looking forward to booking again in 4-6 weeks, I'd highly recommend.
