How to prepare for a sugaring session?

First of all, don’t worry about trimming your hair pre-sugaring. The worst-case scenario is that you’ll trim it too short and your sugarista won’t be able to complete the sugaring. The ideal length for hair is about the size of a grain of rice, but if it’s longer, it doesn’t matter. If you’re a shaver, you’ll want to make sure you leave it to grow out for at least three weeks so there’s enough hair for the sugar paste to adhere to.

In terms of outfits, we’d recommend wearing loose clothes.

If you ask us, sugaring is ๐Ÿ’ฏ times better than waxing. One of the most ancient forms of hair removal dating back to early Egypt, sugaring has become increasingly popular among beauty goers everywhere. ๐Ÿ’ž

This technique of hair removal employs the use of an all-natural sugar paste made from sugar ๐Ÿฏ, lemon juice ๐Ÿ‹, and water ๐Ÿ’ฆ. While the paste may have a wax-like consistency and color, it’s made without the sticky resins, chemicals, preservatives, and dyes that you’ll find in wax.

Post-sugaring appointment, it’s important to start exfoliating 2 to 3 days after your visit. Our scrubs work WONDERS! (And yes, we carry them in-store!) TIP: For best results, we recommend exfoliating in the shower using a gentle circular motion. This is when the pores are open.
